It took me a year to find this species of snake but when i first saw one i wanted it, i paid 150 dollars not including shipping for this animal, well worth it. They are very smart , exquisite escape artists , they start out black white and red and as they age , depending on the parents , they will become completely black with a blue iridescence shimmer to them. They are curious snakes and when held everyday they make aweseom tame and VERY HARDY pets. I have keep mine in tupperware container "snap locs" these are very strong snakes and i have to tape the sides down cause she can still get out. I feed my snakes only prekilled frozen and thawed out food. These snakes are the largest of the milksnakes averaging 56"-76" in length or bigger. Always use tongs to feed your snakes they are voracious eaters!
When she wants to come out she strolls around her container and i get her out for about 30 mins and shes fine and goes back to her hide and sleeps. She is a great snake and worth every penny.
