Kit: the mother of many happy family pets
Kit came to us as a fully trained HERDING STOCK DOG at the age of 6. She was our first fully trained stock dog and came here to retire and teach us about the world of the working stock dog. Although we had raised Border Collies in the past, Kit was our first actual stock dog.
She helped us to learn about the unique nature and drive of the bred for herding stock dogs. She showed us how things were supposed to happen, took us to trials and helps to train young new handlers. This summer after working with Cameron for only 2 weeks, she helped him win a the Beginners Challenge at Run for the Gate Competition in Neepawa. Link available to Youtube on our website.
Kit has pups located across Canada and as far north as Rankin Inlet. You can visit her pups and their families on our website at http://www.wall2wallsheep.com/past_litters and see more pictures of Kit at http://www.wall2wallsheep.com/kit .
Kit had an old injury from working cattle that we were not aware of and so was starting to suffer from arthritis, until we started to give her Cetyl M for dogs. She went from not wanting to go for a walk at all to running three miles with a big smile on her face. I would greatly encourage anyone with an elderly or a dog who has had an injury to get Cetyl M for thier dog. It has done wonders for Kit as well as several other dogs we know.
