Currently, my husband and I have two cats. Even though I've had a few dogs along the way (and truth be known, I'd love to have a small dog again), cats have been an ever-present part of my life. They are wonderful companions and, depending on age and personality, are a great source of amusement! I've never owned a "papered" cat, and the closest one to a breed that I've ever had is our current Manx (tail-less cat). Other than having a little fluffy stub in place of a tail, Bunny looks like any other little striped tabby cat! She is very vocal and frequently makes us laugh!
hi there thank you for the comment on louis just to say i will be popping by tomorrow to read more (im a newbee just finding my way it 4 am here and i'm very sleepy,but so needed to tell you the isle of man where the manx cat is from is quite close to me and i watched a docu recently part of it was on the manx cat on the isle itself and i was amaized to find out the breed stems from a couple of disabled cats who lived on the isle.Im not sure just how common a knowledge this is after living so close but never knowing myself.So thought i'd share the history.
