Although illegal to own as pets in some US states, the naïve-looking domestic Hedgehog is gaining ground among lovers of small mammals. Tame and timid, the Hedgehog can also be active and curious of its surroundings, oftentimes getting snagged in tight situations. Despite their quills, they can be good pets and companions.
