RightPet allows people to share their knowledge and insight about pets and pet businesses and service providers with the broader community. To accomplish this, we gather information from and about users and share it with others, as described in more detail below.

Information we collect
We collect personally identifiable information that you submit when you register at the Website and when you create and edit your account and user profile (your "Profile Information"). We also collect information in the form of the content that you submit when you add ratings, recommendations, stories, forum posts, photos and videos of pets and pet businesses and service providers (your "Content"). We store information about you and your use of this Website, including your Personal and Non-personal Information, and Content. In addition, we display your Content to other users of the Website in order to share your knowledge and insights with the broader community. Your RightPet account is password-protected. We use industry standard measures to protect your information that is stored within our database. We limit the access to your information to those employees who need access to perform their job function, such as our customer service personnel. Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personally identifiable information that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
You hereby acknowledge that RightPet is not responsible for any intercepted information sent via the Internet, and you hereby release us from any and all claims arising out of or related to the use of intercepted information in any unauthorized manner.

You may opt-out of receiving personal messages from other members. In addition, you may opt-out of receiving emails from us by changing your notification settings under the "Member Settings" tab after you sign in to RightPet. Despite your indicated email preferences, we may send you notices of any updates to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy. Unregistered users who receive emails from us may also opt-out of receiving further emails by following the instructions contained in our emails.
Children
The Website is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you are a child under the age of 13 please do not submit any information to the Website. We do not knowingly request or collect personally identifiable information online or offline contact information from users under 13 years old nor do we knowingly use or share personal information from users under 13 years old with third parties.
