Pax River Alpacas is small family-owned and operated farm. We breed for show quality alpacas. Our alpacas are selected and bred for extreme density, fineness of fleece, superb fiber characteristics, perfect conformation and excellent health.

We are a customer service oriented business and provide personalized, "hands-on" training (husbandry, alpaca training, health management, farm set-up, showing and more) for our customers. We are there for our customers many years after the sale. For us, a sale is not the end, but the beginning of a long-term relationship.

While we breed for show quality, we sometimes have pet quality males for sale.

Our alpacas are well socialized, friendly and easy to handle.
