Scientific name: Poecilotheria metallica

Habitat:  The Gooty Sapphire Ornamental Tarantula is an arboreal tarantula species which is native to central and southeastern India, and to Sri Lanka. P. metallica was first discovered in a town in central southern India called Gooty.
