Appearance
Details: The Guppy has an elongated body form and shows great variation in both color and patterns. They have a small head and the mouth is directed upwards. Although males of the species are smaller than the females, they are very brightly colored and have a large, colorful tail. When a female is pregnant, a large spot called a pregnancy spot, or gravid spot, develops on the abdomen.|
