Cat clubs are groups of people who share a common interest in a specific cat breed, and who support high breed standards and public education about the breed. Breed clubs typically host a variety of activities, including shows, classes, community and social events, and also perform rescue fund-raising. Members include experienced breeders, experienced show participants, and the average pet owner. Being part of a cat club is an excellent way to meet other cat lovers and to share experiences and gain breed-specific knowledge.
